Driver Information Center Repair
The Driver Information Center indicates the status of key engine and car systems. It often sits at the bottom of the instrument cluster, but may be a stand alone in the console. The Driver Information Center is often called the DIC in factory repair manuals.
The DIC works in conjunction with the gauges and may be alert the driver to things like low fuel, engine overheating. It also may indicate things like a door is open or tire pressure is low.
